NESBA New Bedford
The percussion and guard groups are off to New Bedford this weekend for a competition. It is quite a late one for percussion again! As always we need help with percussion equipment. Please sign up to help using this link. Thank you!
All Bands Concert
The all town band concert is on Thursday, March 23rd at 7:30pm at the high school in the gymnasium. This event is for all concert band students and is free and open to the public. All concert band students must attend the concert and should wear all black. Concert band call time on the day of the concert is at 5:30pm.
MICCA – Get field trip permission slips returned ASAP
We are participating in the MICCA festival on Friday, March 31st from 2:00pm-4:30pm. This is for all concert band students. We still need more parent volunteers to chaperone kids and help set up the stage. We also need someone to drive a small equipment truck there and back. Please let me know if you are interested!
Added Concert
We have added a concert to our calendar. Our jazz band and concert percussion has been busy and need a concert to showcase their work! Join us on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:00pm for a night of jazz and percussion featuring groups from MHS and QMS. This concert is mandatory for all jazz band members and all concert band percussionists.
Dayton
We still need one more parent chaperone for Dayton. As a reminder all chaperones have their travel and hotel costs covered. If you are interested please email me.
If you plan to go to Dayton but are not chapperoning you can book hotels in the area through WGI at a discounted rate using this link.
