The Mansfield High School Color Guard is a youth organization based out of the Mansfield Band Programs. The guard program is devoted to providing its members with opportunities to develop their sense of self-confidence, communication skills, sense of team spirit, responsibility and commitment through the arena of marching arts known as The Sport of the Arts.
The Mansfield High School Fall Color Guard performs with the Mansfield High School Marching Band in home football game field shows as well as marching in parades including the annual BIG E Massachusetts Day parade in Springfield, MA. The Color Guard also fields a competitive Winter Guard unit that competes in the local N.E.S.B.A. Circuit against other member High Schools and has also competed in WGI regional and World Championship Winter Guard competitions.
We are now accepting new members for our fall season. Any student in the Mansfield school system in grades 5 – 12 are eligible. No experience is necessary!
