The 2021 Gillette fundraising season kicks off in late March / early April. As in previous years we expect to staff certain Patriots and Revs games as well as select concerts and special events, such as Monster Jam.
The MBPA will offer DOUBLE CREDITS – that’s $50!! – to all first-time volunteers. We are hoping to see lots of new faces this season!
Here’s how it will work: When a first-time volunteer arrives at Gillette, s/he will write their name on the MBPA sign in sheet. The first timer will assign the credits to a band/color guard/percussion student.
First time MBPA student volunteers should write their own name down. If a student recruits a first-time volunteer who is not a band/percussion/color guard student, the first-time volunteer should write down the name of the student who recruited them.
Open volunteer positions are filled on a first-come-first-served basis and our Volunteer Lists are typically due to Gillette concessions 10 days in advance of each event – so please sign up as a volunteer early and often as events are posted so our Gillette coordinators can sleep easier!

MBPA’s Gillette coordinator for 2021 is Christine Bellavance. Our co-coordinator is Tom Winrow.
Want to know more about the camaraderie of joining up with other band parents for an afternoon or evening of friendly hands-on work for a great cause? Check our How It Works page which helps explain everything 🙂
WHAT IF YOUR STUDENT HAS PRACTICE, A PARADE, OR ANOTHER BAND OBLIGATION AT THE SAME TIME AS A GILLETTE SHIFT? Please note that where a conflict arises between student band obligations and Gillette, band obligations take precedence over Gillette. Please check the calendar for conflicts before committing your student to a shift at Gillette!
Only four students aged 16-17 may sign up per event, per Gillette rules. They do NOT need to sign up with a parent.
