The QMS Percussion Ensemble is a competitive group open to all students in grades 6-8. We rehearse on Wednesdays, from 2-4. Students are not required to have any previous percussion experience. This ensemble serves as an introduction to the marching percussive arts for our Mansfield students. This is where most of our students begin their percussion journey before they head into our highly competitive and successful high school program. This group performs in the March concert and competes in one local competition.
The Percussion Ensemble competes in the Festival Class at the Mansfield NESBA Home Show. The 2020 show was titled Moonlight and was arranged by former MHS Band Director, Matt McGuire
