Hi Mansfield Band and Guard Families,
Happy February break! Although this is a busy week for our extracurricular groups I hope you all have a chance to relax and have some family time. Below are important updates and the week at a glance is attached.
Color Guard
Congratulations to our varsity color guard this past weekend! They earned second place in their prelims performance; advancing them to the finals performance. In finals they earned third place with a thin margin between them and first!
Percussion Trumbull
The percussion is off to Trumbull this weekend. We need some help getting them on and off the floor through the day. Our first performance is at 10:30am and if we make it to the second show we perform at around 6:15pm. If you are available to help please fill out this form. EVEN IF YOU CONTACTED ME EARLIER PLEASE FILL OUT THE FORM.

If you are a parent helping at Trumbull if you are available to go through the process one more time we will be doing more on and off the floor Thursday at 8pm.
Meals for Trumbull are split between the students and the MBPA. Students should bring their own food and will eat it around 12:00pm. Bring a lunch bag or a personal cooler. The MBPA will order pizza for a late lunch at 4:00pm. Students then should bring about $20 for food after our finals performance around 7:00 or 8:00pm. If you have any questions about Trumbull or meal responsibilities please let me know.
Added Rehearsal
Percussion has added a rehearsal on Friday from 6-9pm. We will rehearse from 6-8 and then load the truck from 8-9. We ask all to be there but if they absolutely can not that is understandable.
Krispy Kreme
Krispy Kreme packets for Winter Guard and Percussion have been distributed. Please ask your student for it so that you can read through all the information.
Here are some specifics:
-Sales will run from 2/14 – 2/28
-You can make additional copies of the order form if needed
-All order forms & money (cash or checks made out to MBPA) MUST be turned in on the 28th. If you are unable to have it on the 28th please send an email to secretary to make other arrangements. Orders will NOT be accepted after the 28th unless we hear from you.
-MBPA cannot accept venmo payments for orders. You are welcome to have venmo payments sent to you, but all orders on your form must match the amount turned in.
Dayton
We are still looking for one parent chaperone for Dayton. As a reminder all chaperones have their travel and hotel costs covered. We are looking for a female chaperone if possible. If you are interested please email me.
