Amazon Smile

One of the easiest ways to support the band is to shop! Simply log into Amazon Smile Charity and select Mansfield Band Parent Association Inc as your current charity then start shopping. Just remember to go through Amazon Smile (which is not the same as just Amazon) every time you shop. For every dollar that you spend, 0.5% goes right to the band. Easy as 1,2,3

Banquet

Thank you to everyone that made the night a great success. Although it wont be the last time we’ll say it, we wish the seniors much luck and happiness on all their future endeavors.

We also want to give a huge shout out to Maggie & Diego Silva (Anabel’s parents) who did a fantastic job on the balloons for our photo area and at the entrance. The students also thank you for allowing them to pop all the balloons at the end of the night 🙂

Winter Season Updates

Due to lack of participation from other bands, we regret to inform you that our Home Show has been canceled. However, we will be putting on a Mansfield Showcase on the same day instead. More information will follow so stay tuned.
Rehearse-A-Thon will be held on Saturday 2/18 at the high school. We will be sending out emails asking for help as we will be providing lunch and dinner for the children. The day will end with a sneak peak to the parents of the show.
Hilliards Candy Bars
- The formal selling period for Hilliards is over. If you would still like to sell candy bars, please email President@Mansfieldbandparents.org to request more boxes.
Krispy Kreme
- Winter percussion & guard will be selling Krispy Kreme in February. Here are some of the specifics
  - It will be the original glazed only
  - They are $10/dozen
  - The selling period will be from 2/14 – 2/28. Students will receive an instruction sheet, envelope and order form at practice on 2/14
  - Pick Up Date will be Thursday 3/9
Fat Heads
- It’s Fat Head time!! A tradition of the winter percussion and guard programs is Fat Heads for the seniors. Please follow the link below to order your seniors Fat Head for the season. We suggest you order as soon as possible so that you are able to have it prior to the start of the competition season.
- Please order the foam core Big Head (16.5w 21.5h size). They are $23.99.

Grant Update

We are happy to announce that the band has received a grant from the Town of Mansfield in the amount of $7,106.45. This amount will be used for future purchases of equipment and instruments. Thank you to Craig Kennedy for doing all the necessary paperwork.

Uniform Collection

Tuesday, January 24th @ 5:30pm will be the next drop off date for uniforms. Drop off will be at the high school via the Band Room Door. We ask any color guard, senior or junior that hasn’t already returned it as well as sophomores to bring them on the 24th. Uniforms should be washed in cold water, inside out and hung to dry.

SENIORS: Garment bag, dinkles, gloves, and shoe bag are yours to keep. Please ONLY return your full uniform, including shako in it’s box.

JUNIORS & SOPHOMORES: Please return your full uniform, IN THE GARMENT BAG, and your shako in it’s box. Please keep your dinkles, gloves, and shoe bag at home.

COLOR GUARD: This is for your FALL costume only – not winter. If you have prior years costumes from the FALL season we ask that you please bring those as well.

Although Mr. DeJoy can message everyone, we need folks to specifically sign up through the MBPA to get notifications from the MBPA.
