Hello All,
Happy MICCA and NESBA finals week! This is a big week for the bands programs! Thank you to all who came out to the concert last week. It was wonderful to have such a large crowd supporting band in Mansfield public schools. The week at a glance and updates are below.
NESBA Finals – Percussion – Dartmouth
The percussion is off to Dartmouth again this weekend for finals on Sunday. As always we need help with percussion equipment. Please sign up to help using this link. Mansfield goes on at 5:35pm. Thank you!
NESBA Finals – Guard – Salem
Check out the guard at NESBA finals in Salem this weekend. Minis are on at 1:44pm and varsity is on at 6:58pm.
MICCA – Get field trip permission slips returned ASAP
We are participating in the MICCA festival on Friday, March 31st from 2:00pm-4:30pm. This is for all concert band students. If you wish to attend the festival as an audience member we will be performing at 3:30pm and tickets are $10 at the door.
Winter Percussion and Guard Banquet
We will be hosting a banquet for winter percussion and varsity guard on Sunday, April 30th at 5pm at the Norton Country Club. More information forthcoming.
Percussion and Jazz Concert
Join us on Wednesday, April 12th at 7:00pm for a night of jazz and percussion featuring groups from MHS and QMS. This concert is mandatory for all jazz band members and all concert band percussionists.
Dayton
We still need one more parent chaperone for Dayton. As a reminder all chaperones have their travel and hotel costs covered. If you are interested please email me.
If you plan to go to Dayton but are not chapperoning you can book hotels in the area through WGI at a discounted rate using this link.
