Amazon Smile

It’s holiday time and one of the easiest ways to support the band is to shop! Simply log into Amazon Smile Charity and select Mansfield Band Parent Association Inc as your current charity then start shopping. Just remember to go through Amazon Smile (which is not the same as just Amazon) every time you shop. For every dollar that you spend, 0.5% goes right to the band. Easy as 1,2,3

Winter Concert

Our winter concert will be held on Thursday, December 15th @ 7:00pm. Students should be in concert black dress and be at school ready to play at 6:00pm. MBPA will be selling our Mansfield Swag (magnets $5, lanyards $5, and stickers $2). Concert will be held in the auditorium.

Banquet

RSVP via Banquet RSVP Form

Our Fall band banquet will be held on Sunday, January 8th from 5:00pm – 10:00pm. This is an evening to celebrate our marching season, parades, and concerts to date. The event will be at enVision Hotel (formerly the Holiday Inn) located at 31 Hampshire Street in Mansfield. Cost will be $25/guest – there is no charge for the students. Please RSVP no later than Sunday, December 18th.

Please note that we will begin our uniform collection the night of the banquet:

We will start with Seniors and Juniors for uniform collection. Uniforms should be washed in cold water and hung to dry prior to returning. We will be posting additional dates for Sophomores and Freshman as well as anyone who is unable to bring the night of the banquet.

SENIORS: Garment bag, dinkles, gloves, and shoe bag are yours to keep. Please ONLY return your full uniform, including shako in it’s box.

JUNIORS: Please return your full uniform, IN THE GARMENT BAG, and your shako in it’s box. Please keep your dinkles, gloves, and shoe bag at home.

Winter Season Updates

Our next MBPA meeting (January 5th @ 6:00pm) will have a brief business as usual update and then the remainder of the meeting will be dedicated to our Winter Percussion & Guard Home Show which will be held on Sunday, March 12th right at Mansfield High School.
- Please know that anyone is welcome to help with the Home Show. You do not need to have a child in the winter season to help out. Many hands make for a successful day.
Hilliards Candy Bars
- If your student is in winter percussion or guard, they will be receiving information on selling Hilliards Chocolates at Tuesday’s rehearsal. Each bar costs $2.00 and $.75 will go directly into their account.
  - If your student is not in the winter season but you would still like to sell to get a jump start on next fall’s season – you are welcome to do so.
- If you would like to sell candy bars you need to email President@Mansfieldbandparents.org to request boxes prior to 12/15. Boxes can be picked up at the concert on the 15th (or by making other arrangements once you email). Remember to ask your student for the info when they come home Tuesday night.
Krispy Kreme
- Sneak Preview – winter percussion & guard will be selling Krispy Kreme in February. It will be original glazed only and they are $10/dozen. More information will follow.
Winter Season Fat Heads
- It’s Fat Head time!! A tradition of the winter percussion and guard programs is Fat Heads for the seniors. Please follow the link below to order your seniors Fat Head for the season.
- You can sign up for emails with the site and get 20% off your order. President

Although Mr. DeJoy can message everyone, we need folks to specifically sign up through the MBPA to get notifications from the MBPA.
