Good Evening,
I have a few updates regarding marching band to share with you.
The Big E
Field trip forms went home the other day for a trip to the Big E on Friday, September 30. Students will miss the full day of school. We will bus over to the Big E at the beginning of the school day and return at approximately 10pm. If students wish to participate in this event they must return the permission slip to me by Friday, September 23rd along with a check for $47 made out to Mansfield High School. We are also looking for 2 more parent chaperones if you are interested.
Competitions
Our first competition is this Saturday!! Please make sure students return their competition field trips to me by Friday, September 23rd. Details for this competition can be found in the attached week at a glance. Most competition days will follow a similar format as this one.
Competition Chaperones
We require help from 11 parents to help the front ensemble and drum majors get their equipment on the field. I may need a few of these volunteers to ride the bus as well. If you sign up I will reach out to you if need be. To sign up use this link: 9/24 Competition Volunteer Sign Up
Gillette
Our Band Parent Association is in desperate need of volunteers for this Sunday’s game at Gillete featuring the Patriots vs. The Ravens. If you are interested in volunteering use this link to sign up. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to our wonderful parent board!
