BIG GILLETTE NEWS on Double credits!!

Hey everyone,

The MBPA will offer DOUBLE CREDITS – that’s $50!! – to all first-time volunteers this season at Gillette. We are hoping to see lots of new faces this season!

Here’s how it will work: When a first-time volunteer arrives at Gillette, s/he will write their name on the MBPA sign in sheet. The first timer will assign the credits to a band/color guard/percussion student.

First time MBPA student volunteers should assign the credit to themselves. If a student recruits a first-time volunteer who is not a band/percussion/color guard student, the first-time volunteer should write down the name of the student who recruited them.

There may be some other double credit events this year, for school night, weeknight events for which students cannot volunteer. I will make it clear in Sign Up Genius which events those are.

We plan to post a How-To Video for Gillette first timers on the Mansfield Band Parents Association website in late April. It will show you how this fundraiser works. Watch for it!!
