COMPETITIONS:
The Marching Band had an awesome GOLD MEDAL PERFORMANCE at the Reading Competition last week!! CONGRATS!!
NESBA Finals will be held this coming Sunday, November 3rd at Veterans Memorial Stadium, 70-71 North Parish Rd., Lawrence, MA. We need lots of volunteers for this one!! Please sign up HERE if you can lend a hand this week. Pit and instrument volunteers, please meet in the truck lot no later than 4:45PM……Prop volunteers, please meet at the truck lot no later than 4:30PM!!
Earlier this week Mr. McGuire sent out an email with important information for this week’s competition. That information can be found HERE
Admission to the show is $15 for adults and $10 for seniors and children. Mansfield is scheduled to perform at 5:36PM. LETS HAVE A GREAT TURNOUT AND A LOUD CHEERING SECTION TO SHOW THESE KIDS HOW PROUD WE ARE OF ALL THEIR HARD WORK FOR THE FINAL NESBA SHOW OF THE SEASON!!!
80s TRIVIA AND GAME NIGHT FUNDRAISER:
All Trivia night invoices have been sent out via email. If you don’t see yours, please check your junk or spam folders as several have already been found there!!
Tonight we emailed a “Trivia Night Flow Sheet” to all those who have already signed up for their tickets. This will give you a little info as to what to expect throughout the evening. If you did not receive yours, please email Kim and I will get one right out to you!
TICKETS ARE STILL AVAILABLE FOR THIS FUNDRAISING EVENT!! PLEASE SIGN UP TO COME SUPPORT THESE KIDS AND THEIR PROGRAMS AFTER ALL THEIR HARD WORK THIS SEASON!!!
We will be hosting an 80’s Trivia and Game night on Saturday November 2nd at the Elks in Mansfield starting at 7:00PM. Please come on out for a fun night to get to know some of your fellow band parents. Tickets will be $25 dollars and include a light dinner, cash bar. Come on out for a few laughs, some hard core competition, and support this amazing program. ALL ARE WELCOME. Purchase your tickets for this 21+ event here:

ALL SLIPS AND PAYMENTS MUST BE TURNED IN BY THE END OF THE HALLOWEEN CONCERT ON 10/30 SO WE CAN MAKE SURE WE HAVE ALL ENTRIES FOR THE RAFFLE TO BEGIN ON 11/1.
MBPA will have a table outside the auditorium where you can turn in money and slips during the concert.
COIN COLLECTION:
We are chugging along with this fundraiser and the kids are doing a great job filling the jug….we only have a few more weeks left…if you still have your coin containers at home, please consider throwing in your spare change and sending it in…all monies collected are going directly back into the program.
GILLETTE:
We have had a busy year so far at Gillette! The Patriots continue to dominate and we still have a lot of football in front of us. Thank you to all who have already covered Gillette shifts this season! We continue to have a number of events for which we have open volunteer slots available. Please volunteer to help us fill those empty slots! We need your continued help to make it successful. If you have never done Gillette before, have no fear, we will walk you through it step by step and you won’t have to deal with any traffic!!! Please sign up for a couple of events to help keep this program funded for the kids! If you have any questions about Gillette, please contact our Gillette Coordinator, Aaron Nicodemus. Late arrivals are always welcome.
Currently we NEED help for these upcoming events. Positions are still open and we need volunteers ASAP.

MARCHING BAND BANQUET:
Our end of the season Marching Band Banquet will be held on Sunday, December 1st in the MHS Cafeteria. Stay tuned for additional info and Sign Up Genius for pot luck items.
MONTHLY BAND PARENTS MEETING:
The next Band Parent meeting will be held on Wednesday November 6th in HS room 135. PLEASE JOIN US!
