THANK YOU FOR TAKING ON THE IMPORTANT JOB OF PIT CREW. WITHOUT YOUR HELP, THE KIDS WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO COMPETE! HERE’S SOME HELPFUL INFO ABOUT BEING IN THE PIT CREW:
The primary job of the pit crew is to help the students get their instruments and equipment from practice area to performance area, and to help them get on the floor and set up to perform and then get off the floor in a timely manner.
- Pit crew positions are available to band parents, family of students, and alumni
- Pit crew may travel to the show on their own, or may travel with the group. In general, pit crew should plan on arriving with or prior to the group
- An itinerary for each show day outlines the exact times and locations for arrivals, practice, and performance. Show itineraries are available for download or print as a pdf at the bottom of the Calendar page of this website.
- As pit crew you may get some direction from staff, but mostly you’re followiing along with the students, helping them as needed or requested.
