Hello Band Families,
Happy last normal week of school! Thank you to everyone who performed at class day and graduation last week. The band received many compliments and performed well. Below is the week at a glance and some updates
Senior Families
Thank you so much for your years of support and involvement. It is appreciated more than you know. I will miss all of our graduating seniors and our many senior parents who have helped this program greatly. I will be making a new email list at the conclusion of the school year so you will stop receiving these emails by the end of the month.
Spring Training
Spring Training starts this week. Please reference the schedule attached here. If there are any conflicts regarding vacations, summer camps, etc. please let me know as soon as possible. Please bring the same materials you would have brought to any fall band rehearsal to spring training rehearsals. Thank you!
Special Olympics
The band will be playing a few tunes at the special olympics opening ceremony on Friday at school. Percussionists will be pulled from class during the second block of the day. All band students will return to class after the opening ceremony concludes. Please be sure to bring your instrument and music to school on this day. There is no dress requirement for this event.
Uniform Collection
If you still have a marching band uniform at home we will have a final dropoff date of June 22nd at 6:00pm. All students must return their uniform.
