Hello Music Families,
I hope you are all recovering well after an extremely busy week of band! I can not believe we only have a week left in our competitive marching band season. The students have been working hard and I am excited to see what they do with our last run of the season this weekend. Below is the week at a glance and some important announcements.
Music Parent Meeting
There is a music parent meeting at the high school today at 6:00pm in room 135. I hope you can make it!
Metlife
The metlife trip is this weekend. Final details will be sent out by tomorrow evening which will include a finalized itinerary, a packing list, an info packet on the show, and more.
Make sure you submit all payments by the end of this week. If you have any trouble with the financial side of things please let me know.
We have our set list of chaperones who will be helping us on the trip but we need a few additional hands to help us get on and off the field at metlife. If you are interested in doing this please email me. Helping move equipment on the field does NOT get you a free pass into the show.
Metlife Food Ordering
We are providing two meals while on the Metlife trip that we need student orders for. A bagged lunch on Saturday and a sit down lunch at Ellen’s Stardust Diner on Saturday. Students and chaperones must fill out a google form indicating what they want for BOTH meals. These forms are on the marching band google classroom. They must be filled out by Wednesday at 5:00pm As a reminder students must bring additional money for dinner on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
Metlife Tickets
I have received tickets to the show at Metlife at a discounted price of $32 (Regularly $39). If you want to order any tickets at this price please send $32 CASH to school with your student and I will give them tickets to give back to you. You can also find me before or after rehearsal this week.

One of our band parents, Chris Jones, has taken pictures of the band at a few of our events in the last week and they came out AMAZING. Gillette
