Good Afternoon,
We are all very excited to have our Winter Concert next week. The students had a fantastic week of rehearsals including the extra after school rehearsal that was held on Wednesday. Just as a reminder we will have another rehearsal after school on 12/13 from 1:49pm – 3pm. The MBPA website now has parent apparel available for purchase. The items in this store are customizable, if you are interested in seeing all the available options please visit the MBPA website. The initial store is only going to be open through 12/15 at midnight. This is because the MBPA is going to attempt to get orders done before Christmas. The store will reopen for a longer second round after New Years. Second round items will be ready before the first competition Winter Percussion competition.
The MBPA has decided to create a Gillette Fundraiser subcommittee to run this fundraiser in 2022. The committee should consist of at least 4 members, and as many as 8. The subcommittee will plan which events the MBPA will staff, and assign 4 jobs per event: event stand manager, event kitchen manager, recruitment manager, and paperwork manager. Christine Bellavance has already volunteered to be on this subcommittee in some capacity, and Aaron Nicodemus, who is stepping down from running the fundraiser in 2022, will help get it off the ground. The subcommittee will meet for the first time in January 2022. If you are interested in running this fundraiser, which has raised over $60,000 in 2021 for this amazing program, please contact Aaron at gillette AND Christine at Gillette2.
But that’s next season. The MBPA still has two events to go this season, and we still need lots of volunteers!
Sunday Dec. 26: Pats v. Bills 8:30 a.m. gate call, should be done by 5 p.m. We still need 8 volunteers, 4 can be students!
Sunday Jan. 2, 2022: Pats v. Jaguars, 8:30 a.m. gate call, should be done by 5 p.m. We still need 6 volunteers, 4 can be students!

Winter Percussion Schedule:
12/14: 6-9pm
12/16: 6-9pm
12/18: 10am-3pm
Winter Concert:
12/15: Concert starts at 7pm doors open at 6:45. Call time for students is 4:45 for set up and warm up. Students should wear concert black attire (this includes dress shoes), and if students are wearing a tie they may have a colored tie.
Marching Band Banquet:
1/15: 5:30pm – 7:30pm in the MHS Cafeteria
