Good Afternoon!
This week has been a productive week! We were able to continue to work on our music for the Holiday Concert and continue to prepare for the Christmas Parade. The audition process for winter percussion has started and students will hold auditions tomorrow, November 20 from 10-3. A permission slip for the Christmas Parade is also attached to this email. The parade is Sunday, November 28, 2021 and starts at 3pm. Students will need to arrive at 2:15pm in their marching band uniform.
Just a friendly reminder, if you plan on volunteering for competitions or school events you must have a CORI completed. The CORI form can be found on the district website as well as on the MBPA website. Please try to get this done as soon as you can. That way you are covered for the entire school year and can volunteer and help whenever you are able.The MBPA is still looking for SIX volunteers for the 11/28 Pats v. Titans game at Gillette Stadium. Gate call is 8:30, should be done by 5. Come late or leave early, we are flexible. Here’s the signup:

Important Information:
Thanksgiving Football Game/Rehearsal: The marching band students will have a rehearsal on Tuesday 11/23 immediately after school on the Field Hockey field to review their show for the halftime performance at the football game. The football game starts at 10am and call time for all marching and pep band students will be at 8:45am. Students should dress warm under their uniform.
Christmas Parade 11/28: The parade starts at 3pm and call time for students is 2:15pm. We will meet at the North Commons. Students should wear their marching band uniform and a holiday hat if they have one.
Winter Percussion Audition Schedule:
There will be no Winter Percussion rehearsals Thanksgiving week. Rehearsals will resume after the holiday weekend:
11/30: 6-9pm
12/2: 6-9pm
12/4: NO REHEARSAL, HS MUSICAL
