Krispy Kreme Fundraiser:

Who wants donuts!?!?!?!?!?

We are kicking off our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser and here is how it works: place an order, pay for your donuts, pick up your freshly made Krispy Kreme donuts at MHS on 2/1 between 12-4. So easy and delicious.

All guard and percussion kids have order forms and selling has begun!!! All profits are credited directly to student’s account. The more your student sells, the cheaper your student’s trip to Dayton becomes. Make sure all order forms have your student’s name on it so the correct account can be credited.

Cash/Check (to MBPA) only.

$10.00 per dozen/bag of coffee.

All orders in by 1/25/2020.

Did you know that Mansfield schools have a half day coming up on Wednesday, January 29th? Are you looking for something to do for the afternoon with the kids??? Well we have got the solution for you!! MBPA has paired with the new indoor laser tag/arcade/inflatable park in Foxboro to get you a great deal on tickets with an early opening for Mansfield students ONLY. Get the details here. Looks like a perfect way to run off some of that winter energy!!

PERCUSSION AND GUARD SPONSORSHIPS:

Sponsorships have been handed out to all winter guard and percussion participants. Please check with your students as to which business they have been assigned. We understand there is a somewhat faster turnaround time for sponsorships this year, so for planning purposes, please try to approach your businesses earlier rather than later as some businesses need to contact their corporate headquarters for permission before committing to donations. All sponsorship info, forms and ad book designs and info must be returned by FEBRUARY 6TH so that we have time to get them into the Ad book and then get the book off to the printer!! If you have any questions at all about this process, please feel free to reach out to Deborah Stratton.

MBPA PAPA GINO’S RESTAURANT NIGHT:

We will be having our next MBPA restaurant night fundraiser on Wednesday, January 22nd from 4:00-9:00PM at Papa Gino’s at 8 Commercial St. in Foxboro. MBPA will earn 20% of all dine in, carry out, and delivery orders when this flyer is presented. “Flyer must be presented or shown on mobile device to the cashier or delivery driver in order for your organization to get credit for your order.” Flyer can be found HERE.

SCRIPS GIFT CARDS:

So far this fundraiser has brought in over $600 to our program!! Even though the holidays are over our Scrip Gift Card fundraiser continues. Simply log into the Scrip website and you can purchase gift cards that you would buy anyways and a percentage of that sale will go directly back into the band program. All info can he found HERE.

COIN COLLECTION:

This fundraiser proved to be more successful than we had anticipated with the kids bringing in over $1300 in spare change. Though this fundraiser as planned has technically finished, we are going to continue to leave the coin collection containers in the band room so kids can continue dropping in spare change throughout the year. We would like to thank all students and families who sent in your coins. THANK YOU ALL!!

CASINO NIGHT PLANNING COMMITTEE:

The MBPA is pairing with the Performing Arts Department to host a Casino Night Gala fundraising event on Friday May 1st from 7-11:00PM at the Bridgewater VETS Club. We have many plans and ideas for this event which we anticipate will be a very successful fundraiser for all groups involved. We will be holding our next Casino Night planning meeting Thursday January 23rd at 6:00 at the high school. Please email Deborah Stratton or <a href="mailto:secretary if you have any questions or concerns. We are really looking forward to this event and would love to have lots of assistance so we can make a lot of money for these programs!

HOME SHOW MEETING:

It’s that time of year again!!! Our Winter Guard and Percussion Home Show will be held on Saturday, March 7th. It will be here before we know it. For those of you who aren’t familiar with the Home Show, it is a day of Winter Guard and Percussion Ensemble competition which the MBPA hosts in the Mansfield High School gym. It’s a fun event with a lot of moving parts. We will be holding our next planning meeting for this year’s show on Monday evening, February 10th at 6:00 PM followed by our last meeting on *March 3rd. Both meetings will be held at the high school.

(*Note: March 3rd Home show meeting will be held immediately following the March MBPA monthly meeting). Hope to see you there!

GILLETTE:

Gillette has officially wrapped up for the season. Hope all our volunteers enjoy a much deserved break! Thank you for all your hard work – and congratulations on being recognized by the Mansfield News!

MONTHLY BAND PARENTS MEETING:

The next Band Parent meeting will be held on *THURSDAY February 6th at 7:00PM in HS room 135. PLEASE JOIN US! (*note day change from Wednesday to Thursday.)
