MPBA Monthly Meeting

January 8, 2026 @ 6:30pm

  1. Director Updates
  1. MICA March 27 @ 4pm in Foxborough 
  2. Percussion trips will be presented at school committee on Tuesday for approval
  3. Jazz band started today – they sound great!
  1. Financials
  1. See page 3 for complete financial update document
  2. Assets as of today 60,215.91
  3. 300 in outstanding invoices
  4. 8000 in student credits
  5. Significant deposits and expenses – winter activities 7.8k costs, 2.7.k in fundraising and 1k for banquet fundraiser 
  6. Gillette income so far over 41,000 in payments in debt – 10k back to student accounts 
  1. Fundraising
    1. Calendar – prizes have been distributed
    2. Unfundraiser – for families/friends and business sponsorships; forms available now – Kevin went to Dunkin Donuts and Starbucks but have not heard back. 
    3. Winter Swag Store – closed
    4. Shoe Drive – wrapped up waiting on pick up on Monday 1/12 @2:30 – looking for anyone that can come and help load the pick up truck.
    5. Can Drive – ongoing
    6. Upcoming Dining for Dollars events – looking at Feb break at Panda Express
    7. Paint night – date TBD but will be in March tickets will likely be $50
    8. Golf Tournament in May – waiting on the contract
    9. Krispy Kreme will be mid March – Middle school just completed their orders and pick up is 1/15
  1. Uniforms
    1. Please make sure your student has returned in both old and new uniform 
    2. Offering old uniform jackets for sale for $40 – if interested outreach Sarah by 1/31
    3. Uniform jacket pillows $75 – if interested outreach Sarah no later than 1/31
  1. Gillette
    1. Still looking for coordinators, Serve Safe People, Kitchen Managers, and Stand Managers.  These are as important as the volunteers.  Please consider.
    2. No events from January-June due to Gillette needing to grow grass for the world cup
  1. Winter
  1. Homeshow will be March 22nd time TBD – there will be other groups attending 
  2. Uniforms information will be distributed tonight
  3. Fatheads will be sent out in the newsletter this month – look for 35% off coupons. Can you use any photo the family wants.

7.   Banquet 

a. confirmed for June 9th with dinner served at 6:00. Families may arrive at 5:30 so students can take pictures and mingle.
