QMS BAND UPDATES:

QMS Holiday Concert
- December 21 @ 6:30pm – This will be our first formal concert of the year. Students will need to wear concert black. All families and friends are encouraged to attend! There is no charge for admission.

MHS BAND UPDATES:

MBPA STORE
- We are opening another store which can be found by clicking Winter Band Store This store will be open from Wednesday 11/29/23 through midnight on Sunday 12/17/23. Items for purchase are for winter percussion & guard as well as the fall marching jackets and some additional swag.
- PLEASE NOTE: Items will not be in for the holidays. However, if you are purchasing for the holidays and would like a picture printed of the items to present as a gift we can arrange to get that for you. Also note that they need a certain amount of each screen printed item (shirts, tanks, sweatshirts) to run it. If enough items are not purchased for that particular item – people will be notified and refunds will be given.
MHS WINTER CONCERT
- Dress rehearsal December 11th from 6-8pm.
- Concert is at 6:30pm on Wednesday, December 13th. Students call time is 6:00pm.

YOU’RE A GOOD MAN, CHARLIE BROWN

This year the MHS theatre department is putting on “You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown,” with opening night set for Friday, December 8th at 7pm. There will be 4 shows total (12/8 at 7pm, 12/9 at 1pm and 7pm, and 12/10 at 1pm). We hope everyone can get to one of the shows in support of our outstanding student performers.
MBPA will be selling a 50/50 raffle, a limited number of ornaments, and some chocolate bars. Please stop by and say hello.

GILLETTE: We continue to need help as the Patriot’s season continues. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED TO DATE! If you have never done Gillette before, have no fear, we will walk you through it step by step and you won’t have to deal with any traffic!!!

This is the most substantial way MBPA raises funds for our programs. Please consider helping out if you can!

Currently we need help for these upcoming events. Positions are still open and we need volunteers ASAP!

With the funds raised at Gillette, the MBPA was able to purchase a new parade banner. It’s these types of purchases that are made possible by your volunteer efforts.

MBPA FUNDRAISING:

BOTTLE AND CAN DRIVE: Mansfield Band and Color Guard are now partnering with the Mansfield Redemption Center collecting bottles and cans! Please click here for more information. Between now and March 2024, all bottles and cans donated will benefit the Disney Trip in April. Mansfield Band and Color Guard will continue to partner with the Mansfield Redemption Center to collect bottles and cans on a continuous basis to support the program. Thank you for your help!

MONTHLY DINE-OUT FUNDRAISERS: Be on the look out for our monthly dine-out fundraisers which will be starting in January. These fundraisers will be on the 1st Monday of every month so mark your calendars now. These are a simple way for us to earn money while giving you the night off from cooking.

Our first one will be held on Monday, January 3rd with Chipotle from 4:00pm – 8:00pm. Flyer is needed so print and share. Anyone can participate so send along to family and friends.
