MONTHLY UPDATE

QMS BAND UPDATES:

QMS Holiday Concert- December 21 @ 6:30pm- This will be our first formal concert of the year. Students will need to wear concert black. All families and friends are encouraged to attend! There is no charge for admission.

MHS BAND UPDATES:

November 14th from 6pm-9pm Winter Percussion– Rehearsals will start Tuesday, November 14th, followed by rehearsals on Friday, November 17th from 6pm-9pm and auditions on Saturday, November 18th from 10am-4pm.
November 21st at 6pm Winter Percussion Meeting- Meeting will be held for Winter Percussion ONLY at the High School. Winter Guard and Jazz Band will not be having a meeting.
November 23rd- Thanksgiving Day Football Game– MHS Band and Color Guard will be performing at the Annual Thanksgiving Day Football Game (8:30am-12:00pm). More details to follow.
November 26th- Mansfield Holiday Parade– Mansfield Band and Color Guard will be performing at the Annual Holiday Parade (2:30pm-4:00pm). More details to follow.
Another MBPA Store will open soon! Another store will be opening on 11/21 and will contain items from both the fall apparel as well as for the winter season. Link to follow. Items will not be in for the holidays and an IMPORTANT NOTE: they need a certain amount of each screen printed item (shirts, tanks, sweatshirts) to run it. If enough items are not purchased for that particular item – people will be notified and refunds will be given. Stay tuned for more details! ***PLEASE NOTE*** If you ordered Band Swag through the Fall MBPA Store, please send an email to president@mansfieldbandparents.org to arrange for a pick up.

GILLETTE: We continue to need help as the Patriot’s season continues. THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH TO THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE VOLUNTEERED TO DATE! If you have never done Gillette before, have no fear, we will walk you through it step by step and you won’t have to deal with any traffic!!!

This is the most substantial way MBPA raises funds for our programs. Please consider helping out if you can!

MBPA FUNDRAISING:

CALENDAR FUNDRAISER: Thank you to all who participated in this year’s calendar raffle. Prizes are currently being announced through our MBPA Facebook Page. Calendar sales totaled $5,100. $2,550 of the sales went into the MBPA Fund and $2,550 was applied to student credits. Thank you again to those who participated in the Annual Calendar Fundraiser.

BOTTLE AND CAN DRIVE: Mansfield Band and Color Guard are now partnering with the Mansfield Redemption Center collecting bottles and cans! Please click here for more information. Between now and March 2024, all bottles and cans donated will benefit the Disney Trip in April. Mansfield Band and Color Guard will continue to partner with the Mansfield Redemption Center to collect bottles and cans on a continuous basis to support the program. Thank you for your help!

DISNEY FUNDRAISING:

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER: Forms were due November 13th. Top seller wins a prize!

DINE IN OR TAKE OUT- THE CHATEAU FUNDRAISER THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 16TH: On Thursday, November 16th eat-in or take-out lunch or dinner and a percentage of the total check will go towards the 2023 Disney Trip! Please see the flyer below for additional details. Our event at Jake n Joe’s was a success, raising $700!
